    The Western Instruments W-SWF Self Contained Wet Fluorescent Kit is the ultimate in convenience for fast spot checks, or spending a couple of hours performing a critical Wet Fluorescent Inspection. Illustrated above with a Yoke, The Flash Light style UV Lamp (Western’s SPR-365) uses state of the art LED technology to produce a high intensity Black Light. The combination of a Yoke and the Flash Light style UV Lamp, gives the inspector the versatility and convenience with a single case.

    The Western Instruments W-SWF Self Contained Wet Fluorescent Kit is Ideal for a shop just starting a Magnetic Particle Inspection Program, or an Experienced Inspector who needs the necessary supplies to perform a through Wet Method Inspection. We offer Refills of 6 and 12 Aerosol Cans to keep the inspector’s supplies up. If testing Sandblasted surfaces, Cleaner / Remover may not be needed.

    Western Instruments Wet Visible Method

    • The Western Instruments Wet Visible Method particles have a mean particle size of 10 to 20 microns, so it is particularly good at detecting small cracks. This Wet Method Particle is most commonly Black. In order to highlight the very fine Black Particles, a White Lacquer Paint is used. We commonly refer to this method as Black on White.
