The Cutting Tip Holder, at a little under two inches long, allows easy use of a cutting tip without having to manipulate the Tooke® Paint Inspection Gage to make the incision and then manipulate the gauge again to view the incision through the microscope. Make multiple incisions with your most-used tip without having to return the gauge to viewing position multiple times. A tip storage compartment holds two additional tips.

The cutting tip is held securely by set screws from the side and end of the cutting tip holder to provide 90-degrees of support. The tip storage compartment set screw is shown below raised to allow access to the stored tips

Tip storage compartment

The tipholder has a tip storage compartment that can hold two tips. The wrench provided with the Tooke Gage is used to open and close the set screw that holds the tips in the compartment.
