Tensitron LX-1 Series ( LX-250-1 , LX-250-W-1 , LX-500-1 ): For medium-sized wires, flexible cables, and filaments up to 5/32" diameter from 5 to 500 lb. Dillon TTXL & Tensitron WX-1 Series : For heavy structural wire ropes from 2,000 lb up to 26,500 lb (TTXL) or 40,000 lb (WX-1).

ABQ Industrial offers heavy-duty Cable Tension Meters and Wire Rope Tensiometers from industry-leading manufacturers Dillon and Tensitron (part of our Tension Meters catalog). Engineered for telecommunications tower crews, utility linemen, elevator technicians, structural engineers, and zip-line inspectors, these clamp-on digital instruments measure static and slowly moving cable tension in seconds without cutting, disconnecting, or dead-ending the wire rope.

Whether verifying 2,000 lb to 26,500+ lb loads on cell-tower guy wires, highway guardrails, and suspension cables, or balancing 5 lb to 2,000 lb tensions on medium and large industrial cables, elevator hoist ropes, and catenary systems, our catalog provides direct digital readings in lb, kg, N, daN, or kN without lookup tables.
