The NKE Aquaprobe AP-5000 Package with Bluelink is our largest multiparameter portable water quality monitoring package. The AP-5000 allows you to add an increased number of sensors compared to the smaller AP-2000. Packages include an Aquaprobe, a Bluelink Device, a 3 meter cable, accessories and some RapidCal calibration solution all housed in a neat carry case for easy storage and transport.

The NKE Aquaprobe-5000 Water Monitoring Probe is the larger of our advanced portable multiparameter water monitoring probes. It comes with a range of standard sensors included, and much like its smaller counterpart, it offers more customization options that allow you to add extra sensors to the probe. All of our probes are constructed from tough marine grade aluminum that has been hard anodized, making it suitable for use in both fresh and salt waters.

The NKS BlueLink Bluetooth Device for Connectivity to the Aquaprobe & PRO Range of Water Quality Probes is an adaptor that replaces the Aquameter in your portable monitoring setup. It connects to the end of the Aquaprobes cable, features a rechargeable battery and Bluetooth communications.

The Bluelink app will allow you to view live data from the probe, to calibrate all of the sensors on the probe, to assign the sockets if you have additional sensors fitted to the probe and to automatically log data. It will have all of the features of the Aquameter

• The AP-5000 features 4 Auxiliary sockets to allow you to add further sensors to the probe. Unlike the AP-2000, these auxiliary ports are unrestricted. This means that each port can take either an Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) or an optical sensor. This makes the number of potential sensor combinations vast.
• The probe can be used with a variety of cable lengths via the AquaConn Connectors. Cables available in 3, 10, 20, and 30m lengths as standard.

• Customizing the AP-5000 is simple; there are 4 ports, and you can add any combination of our ISE and optical sensors into these ports. Probes are supplied with blanking plugs in the auxiliary ports as standard. Simply unscrew these to add your extra electrodes. • The AP-5000 features a depth sensor. This sensor is capable of measurement accuracy of 0.5%FS. This is very comparable to a dedicated water level logger such as the LeveLine-ECO: 0.2%FS, and the LeveLine (titanium): 0.1%FS.
• The depth is zeroed automatically whilst the conductivity is reading zero. As soon as the conductivity registers over 0 the probe depth begins to be calculated. Once the probe is lowered to the desired depth it must be secured, then using the GPS Aquameter the depth can be zeroed once again. Now the AP-5000 will detect small changes in the water level and display them as a positive or negative change

Each sensor serves a unique purpose, and so is unique in its function and composition — but all are made with high-quality, durable materials that allow you to measure accurately, time and time again.

The NKE Bluelink Bluetooth Water Quality Monitoring Adapter is made from aluminum and carbon fiber and houses a rechargeable battery. The unit also features a barometric pressure sensor for live compensation of the dissolved oxygen and depth measurements.

The internal battery within Bluelink is rechargeable. It is supplied with a USB charging cable, meaning it can be charged from your PC, USB wall plug, or a portable battery with USB sockets.

The Bluelink module can only be powered with a cable connected to it, preventing the device from draining if left switched on when the cable and probe are disconnected.

Open up the Bluelink app on your device after switching on the Bluelink unit. The app will start in the ‘add new device’ screen and auto-detect the Bluelink unit, click on it to pair. Previously paired probes will appear here to make it quicker to connect.

Bluelink brings your water quality data direct to you phone via the app, which is available to download on both Android and Apple devices from the relevant app stores, follow the links below to your preferred store.
Once you have connected your Aquaprobe to the Bluelink device, you can configure any extra sensors you have added to the probe, check Bluelinks battery level, check software versions and model numbers By selecting the options menu you can and tabs to view the live data coming from with, options to customise which parameters are visible. Calibration, where you can view GLP calibration data and perform new calibrations. Logs, where any logged data recorded via the app will be located and settings where things like temperature units can be changed or EC compensation can be adjusted.
