The NKE Aquaprobe AP-7000 Water Monitoring Probe is designed for long term deployment, utilizing a central cleaning system to keep the fitted sensors clean, reducing the effects of bio-fouling common in extended deployments. The probe comes with all of our standard parameters including optical dissolved oxygen, it also features 6 user configurable auxiliary sockets allowing you to add multiple specialist sensors to the probe. The NKE Aquaprobe-7000 Water Monitoring Probe is capable of measuring up to 17 individual parameters at once.
The NKS BlueLink Bluetooth Device for Connectivity to the Aquaprobe & PRO Range of Water Quality Probes is an adaptor that replaces the Aquameter in your portable monitoring setup. It connects to the end of the Aquaprobes cable, features a rechargeable battery and Bluetooth communications.
The Bluelink app will allow you to view live data from the probe, to calibrate all of the sensors on the probe, to assign the sockets if you have additional sensors fitted to the probe and to automatically log data. It will have all of the features of the Aquameter
- Optical Dissolved Oxygen
- Specific Electrical Conductivity
- Absolute Electrical Conductivity
- pH
- ORP
- Depth
- Total Dissolved Solids
- Resistivity
- Salinity
- Sea Water Specific Gravity
- Temperature
- The AP-7000 features 6 Auxiliary sockets to allow you to add further sensors to the probe. The sockets are completely unrestricted, so you can fit the probe with any combination of our ion-selective or optical sensors.
- The AP-7000 can be used with a variety of cable lengths via the AquaConn Connectors. Cables available in 3, 10, 20, and 30m lengths as standard.
- The AP-7000 is fitted with a central self-cleaning system. The brush, which sits in its home position, will rotate and wipe each of the sensor faces clean multiple times per cleaning cycle. This level of cleaning maximises the duration that the probe can be left unmanned for.
Each sensor serves a unique purpose, and so is unique in its function and composition — but all are made with high-quality, durable materials that allow you to measure accurately, time and time again.
If you’re not sure what water quality testing sensor you need, do feel free to contact us to discuss your specific requirements..
Some of our most commonly-used sensors include:
- pH — to measure water acidity
- Temperature — to measure temperatures between -5 and +50°C
- EC — Electrical Conductivity — to measure the concentration of salts
- Turbidity — to measure water clarity impacted by the presence of suspended particles
- DO — Dissolved Oxygen — to measure the level of oxygen in the water

The NKE Bluelink Bluetooth Water Quality Monitoring Adapter is made from aluminum and carbon fiber and houses a rechargeable battery. The unit also features a barometric pressure sensor for live compensation of the dissolved oxygen and depth measurements.
The internal battery within Bluelink is rechargeable. It is supplied with a USB charging cable, meaning it can be charged from your PC, USB wall plug, or a portable battery with USB sockets.
The Bluelink module can only be powered with a cable connected to it, preventing the device from draining if left switched on when the cable and probe are disconnected.
Open up the Bluelink app on your device after switching on the Bluelink unit. The app will start in the ‘add new device’ screen and auto-detect the Bluelink unit, click on it to pair. Previously paired probes will appear here to make it quicker to connect.
Bluelink brings your water quality data direct to you phone via the app, which is available to download on both Android and Apple devices from the relevant app stores, follow the links below to your preferred store.
Once you have connected your Aquaprobe to the Bluelink device, you can configure any extra sensors you have added to the probe, check Bluelinks battery level, check software versions and model numbers

By selecting the options menu you can and tabs to view the live data coming from with, options to customise which parameters are visible. Calibration, where you can view GLP calibration data and perform new calibrations. Logs, where any logged data recorded via the app will be located and settings where things like temperature units can be changed or EC compensation can be adjusted.

- Cleans every sensor installed. The central cleaning arm of the AP-7000 consists of a rotating set of brushes that clean all of the connected sensors, including the EC sensor located on the side of the optical DO probe.
- The main brush, that resides in the home position, cleans each of the sensors multiple times before moving on to the next. When it returns to the home position it also cleans itself by scraping the brush against the sharp edges of the home position.
- Cleaning the sensors regularly in this way can increase the deployment duration substantially, even in demanding environments.
- Inevitably human interaction will be required for calibration and a more thorough clean, even the brushes will become fouled eventually. So with this in mind we have ensured that the maintenance of the cleaning system is extremely quick, simple and cost effective.
- Simple brush replacement. As part of the routine maintenance of the AP-7000 the cleaning brushes need to be replaced.
- This is a very quick job that can be performed as the probe is cleaned prior to calibration. Once the cleaning arm is slid out, the brushes can be removed and replaced as shown.
- The NKE Aquaprobe-7000 Water Monitoring Probe has six auxiliary sockets.
- These sockets are completely unrestricted meaning you can install any combination of our wide range of ion selective and optical sensors available such as ammonium, nitrate turbidity and chlorophyll to name a few. When fully loaded the AP-7000 can measure up to 17 parameters at once!
