Wood Moisture
The wood moisture defines the amount of water contained in the wood as a percentage of its dry weight.
7 to 150 % (dependent on the wood type)

Water Content
The water content defines the amount of water contained in the wood as a percentage of its total weight.
10 to 60 % (dependent on the wood type)

Because of its dual functionality, the WLW is an ideal instrument for professional applications in sawmills, joineries, timber construction companies, as well as for operators of biomass heating systems, wood suppliers, and buyers of round and split logs.

Integrated calibration curves for various wood types are included, allows the WLW to display measurements directly in "Moisture Content" or "Water Content", eliminating the need to refer to separate "look-up tables. This ensures the highest possible accuracy with minimum effort and reduces the chances of errors.

Separate calibration curves are supplied for Pine, Larch, Fir, Willow, Beech, Oak, Alder, Ash, and Spruce.
