This kit supplies several alternate power solutions for your battery-operated PosiTector. They allow the gage to operate continuously without the need for batteries.

Use the cable alone to connect a PosiTector to your PC's built-in USB port that acts as a continuous power source. Or connect the cable to the included power adaptor which plugs into any AC wall electrical outlet, 110 or 220V.

Helps reduce adverse operator influence by ensuring the probe is placed perpendicular to the part’s surface in a controlled, repeatable way.

While intended primarily for the straight (0 degree) ferrous or nonferrous microprobes, this stand also accommodates our regular separate DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 FS, NS, FNS, FXS, FNDS, NAS and FTS probes.

The innovative PosiPatch attaches to steel surfaces using a unique magnetic ring. Like the Standard Magnetic Ring, the NEW Flexible Magnetic ring leaves no messy adhesive residue to clean. Intended for pipes and other tight diameters, it allows the PosiPatch to form a tight, leak-free seal on inside and outside diameters greater than 10 cm (4 in.).*

The Standard Magnetic Ring continues to be included in all PosiPatch Kits and is the first choice for flat surfaces and curved surfaces with diameters greater than 100 cm (40 in.).

Why use a wetting agent?
Sometimes pinholes are so miniscule that water has difficulty reaching the conductive substrate underneath, especially on thicker coatings when the water must penetrate further into a pinhole to reach the substrate. In these instances, inspectors will use a surfactant (wetting agent) to lower the surface tension of the water, allowing the solution to better penetrate the pinhole.

Converts the PosiTest LPD Low-voltage Pinhole Detector into a cabled-wand style unit. At just 13.5 cm (5.3"), it is ideal for ergonomically measuring hard-to-reach areas.
